Terms of Service
By creating an account and using Clipdrop, you agree to these terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Clipdrop. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to upload, share, or distribute content that:
- Is illegal or violates any applicable law
- Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
- Contains malware, viruses, or other malicious code
- Is sexually explicit or exploitative, especially involving minors
- Harasses, threatens, or targets any individual or group
Account Access
Upload access is granted at Clipdrop's sole discretion. We reserve the right to enable or disable upload access for any account at any time. Your IP address and browser information are collected at signup for security and abuse prevention purposes - see our Privacy Policy.
Account Emails
By creating an account you agree to receive emails needed to operate your account and your content, such as email verification, password resets, email change confirmations, and notices that a video is about to expire. These are service emails, not marketing, and can't be opted out of while your account is active.
Plans & Storage
Clipdrop offers four tiers:
- Free - 1 GB storage, up to 5 videos, 5 uploads per week, links expire after 7 days
- Pro - 250 GB storage, up to 50 videos, 25 uploads per week, links expire after 14 days
- Creator - 500 GB storage, unlimited videos, 100 uploads per week, links expire after 30 days
- Studio - 1 TB storage, unlimited videos, unlimited uploads, links expire after 90 days
Uploading beyond your storage quota is not permitted. Videos are automatically deleted after their expiry period unless you extend them.
Auto Captions
Automatic captions are offered as a courtesy feature on paid plans and are generated using a third-party transcription service subject to its own availability and usage limits. Auto captions are provided on a best-effort basis only and are not guaranteed to be available, accurate, or generated for every video. Clipdrop may limit, delay, or disable auto captions at any time without notice, and their unavailability does not constitute a breach of your plan or entitle you to a refund or credit.
Subscriptions & Billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis. Current pricing:
- Pro: $7.99/month or $5.59/month billed annually
- Creator: $14.99/month or $10.49/month billed annually
- Studio: $39.99/month or $27.99/month billed annually
- By subscribing you authorize Clipdrop to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel
- Payments are non-refundable except where required by law
- If a payment fails, your account will be downgraded to the free plan and expiry periods will adjust accordingly
- Prices may change with 30 days notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance
- All payments are processed by Stripe. Clipdrop never sees or stores your card details
How to Cancel
To cancel your subscription, go to Settings and click "Cancel subscription" in the Subscription section. Your paid benefits remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account returns to the free plan. If you have trouble cancelling, email support@clipdrop.xyz and we will cancel it for you.
Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you upload. Clipdrop reserves the right to remove any content and terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Service Availability
Clipdrop is provided as-is with no uptime guarantee. We are not liable for data loss or downtime. We recommend keeping local copies of important videos.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of Clipdrop after changes constitutes acceptance.
